The aim of this report is to design table olive production equipments and process simulation.We have prepared a detailed equipment design parameters for an table olive plant. The project was conducted by 5 barchelor food engineering students at University of Gaziantep.

The raw material avalability

The raw material is one of the most important need for all the factories which produce any of product. Due to this reason, it must be chosen a proper factory land as a location of factory which ease the contidition to reach the sources of raw material. Another aspect that we have to consider is economical side.

Because ıf the raw material sources are not closer to the location of the factory, additional capital is needed in order to transport the raw material from far distances. That is also undesirable for the people who intend to make investment.

The required labour power

The second factor that must be noticed is the required labour power suppliment.

It is clear that that would be provided from places such as town, village or city around the location of the factory. But nowadays need is a bit lowered because the progress in technology reduces the need of people working in the factory.

So the unemployment is increased in our country.

The required water sources

The water as all we know is important for all the things especially for living things. It is possible to see a factory as living thing. The water is the main need for all the factories. The water is used in some cases as a raw material. Or it is used for cleaning or as drinking water. We can increase the examples using water for different applications.

The available social activities

This factor is a considerable factor for the personel of the factory. Social needs are vital for all the people also for the staff of the factory. What they need is what we need. People generally want to live in big cities to reach broad facilities to provide all things they need such as markets, schools, universities, sports center ..etc.

These needs must be supplied to make them happy and love their work in order to get a considerable yield. It is apperant that the social life of people affects their efficiency while working.

The transportation

This issue is quite important as much as the others. The produced products must be transported from factory to the consumers.It is commonly done by trucks or long vehicles. But ıf the factory is near the sea of course another way is possible transportation by ships.the cheapist one is transportation by ships. So it is desirable that the factory should be near the big cities or trade centers to reduce the transportation cost.

The geographical location of land

Before establishing the factory some predictions must be done while preparing the feasibility report of factory such as the progress of factory, the increase of the production.etc

So the survey of land is determined before establishing the factory.and also maybe later some adding construction would be built in next years.Finally the list can be extended but the main ones underlined above.
