Atatürk Orman Çiftligi was setup in 1925 to develop Turkey’s wine and to appraise the grape of grape producers. Firstly, factory produced 2 tons of wine and increased to wine producing 20-25 tons in 1940. The capacity was increased to 500 tons. In 1944, the production of wine capacity increase to 1600000L with Nevsehir factory. In 1954, while production of wine was finished in Nevsehir, Kilis wine factory was start production of wine and the capacity occurred 1000000L. After Kilis factory handed over to Tekel in 1963, Ankara Dikmen factory rented. In 1967, new container about 900000L was done and Dikmen factory was released. In today AOC factory has a capacity of 1600000L.
